President's Message

I hope everyone survived the Holiday Season. Now we need to get down to business!

As mentioned in our last newsletter, in this age of computers and everyone trying to be environmentally friendly not to mention the rising cost of printing and postage, we are moving to an email newsletter. If you know someone without a computer, please help us out by
sharing the newsletter with them.

Remember there are approximately 270 days till we get “FIRED UP” again for Homecoming! If you are planning a reunion, you can forward your information to the alumni email and we will include it in our next newsletter. If you have a parade theme suggestion or a nomination for Grand Marshal please submit them to phsalumniassoc@comcast.net or fax them to 815 436-
1840.

Last but not least, I invite you to join us for the next Alumni Meeting which will be held on January 13th at the PHS Freshman Center/Wildcat Den at 7:00pm. We would like to hear your alumni ideas for 2009! The success of the PHS Alumni Association depends on the support of its members whether that be helping with a committee, the Homecoming Parade, financially, etc. We would certainly like to see you at our next meeting. So I am challenging you to step back into the school that brought you so many memories, even though for some of
us it is not the original PHS, and let us make some new memories with our old and new friends.

I would like to wish all our Alumni and Friends a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.
